In the Maritime Museum Rotterdam, you can discover the enormous effect that shipping has on our daily lives. Go on a journey with us through the maritime past and present in modern exhibitions for adventurers large and small.
Listen to the stories, admire the prize exhibits from our leading collection or join in some of the numerous activities. The museum has one of the oldest and largest museum harbours of the Netherlands, where you can visit historical vessels and cranes and experience how the world's leading port of Rotterdam began at this spot.
- Tuesday to Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (On Saturday 31st January we close at 4 p.m.)
- Sundays and public holidays: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
During school holidays also open on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The main building, museum harbour and workshops in the Leuvepavilion are closed on Mondays (apart from school holidays), New Year's Day, King's Day (April 27th) and Christmas Day.

The Maritime Museum is located in the bustling Maritime District of Rotterdam, near the Erasmus Bridge, the Market Hall and Hotel New York. The museum is easily accessible.
