Our range inspires further deepening and enrichment about the fascinating maritime world and the maritime capital of Europe.

Local artists and suppliers

The majority of our suppliers are from the Rotterdam region. We give local entrepreneurs and artists the opportunity to present their products in our museum shop. For example, you can find work by the Rotterdam City Drawing Artist, Timmy's socks & various Rotterdam writers.

For the exhibition 'Maritime Women' the Maritime Museum has joined forces with jewellery designer Charlotte Wooning. Charlotte is known for her modern designs, handmade in her studio in the heart of Rotterdam. A piece of jewellery to wear every day or to save for a special occasion.

Rotterdam-based artist Margareth Stigter has specially designed items for our museum shop using recycled leather, where craftsmanship and art come together. The designs are inspired by the maritime world as well as our own collection. Each item is handmade. A sustainable piece of art to wear or to bring into your home (while supplies last).

Meet Kai the Crab! Specially created for the exhibition 'Splash! The Future of the Sea', this limited-edition building set is made from 100% genuine LEGO® parts. Designed by LEGO® Master Stefan Eeckman. Build Kai yourself with over 160 pieces and bring him to life.

In our museum shop, you’ll find the nicest items from Sam & Julia, the best friends from the Mouse Mansion. Discover the mini sailor’s cabin and let Grandpa Sailor experience his adventures! Build the furniture, decorate the cabin with nautical accessories, and take it with you wherever you go. We also have Sam and Julia dolls, as well as the books in which their stories come to life.

And the best part: you can now purchase a miniature version of this beautiful ship in our museum shop! Each piece is handmade and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
