We offer unique round trips through the port of Rotterdam on our museum ships. This is a special experience on a piece of sailing history.

Sail on a former steam-powered tug of the RDM (Rotterdam Dry Dock Company) or with Harbour Services, which was the visible face of the harbour as a patrol vessel, firefighting boat or icebreaker during the post-war reconstruction period. Or cast off the mooring ropes with a round trip on the only Rhine steam tug that still exists, the Pieter Boele.

A round trip takes about 2 hours and takes you past the skyline of Rotterdam and the port. Complete the trip with a packed lunch on board.

Lunch or drinks with a view of the museum harbour

The Lage Licht museum café, named after our lighthouse, is your home port for a good cup of coffee with freshly baked apple tart, a nice lunch or drinks. When the weather is good, the patio with a view of the museum harbour is also open.

Suitable packages for groups can be booked here. Discuss your wishes with the Sales department.

Guided tour for schoolchildren from abroad

Specially for pupils (aged 12 to 18) from outside the Netherlands we offer an interactive guided tour in Dutch, English, French or German, led by an expert and enthusiastic guide.
