During the summer holidays, the Maritime Museum is bustling with activities for young and old. Come play, discover, watch and do – inside the museum and outside on the quay between historic ships.
Summer 2025. July 19 - August 31 - Welcome aboard!
Whether you come with young children, are looking for an outing with grandma and grandpa, or are on a city trip: our museum offers something for everyone. Nice and cool inside on warm days, and plenty of space to wander around outside along cranes, ships and stories.
There is always something to do at the Maritime Museum Rotterdam.
During the warm summer months we organize historical cruises from the Maritime Museum Haven.
See the Erasmus Bridge, the ss Rotterdam and the skyline of the city of Rotterdam from the water and discover everything about the special history of our museum ships. The crew will be happy to tell you about the ship, the history, the technology and the future of these sailing monuments.
Our new exhibition 'Maritime Women' is coming up. In that theme we have another very nice drawing competition.
